The municipality of Teylingen asked Over Morgen to develop an implementation plan for the sustainable mobility policy of the Holland Rijnland regional energy covenant with short-, medium- and long-term goals and projects.
Our solution: sustain, scale down and switch
We make mobility more sustainable by following the Trias Mobilica (a definition of the key elements of sustainable mobility) and its three steps: sustain, scale down and switch. This applies to the transport of both passengers and goods. In this framework, we look for measures and projects that are suitable for the Holland Rijnland region.
Trends and developments
We start by describing the most important trends and developments for the short and long term. We offer consulting services on all relevant European, national and provincial policies before focussing on the role that the region has to play. From there, we show how the different trends and developments can be accelerated and how the different municipalities can implement them.
Suitable projects
Together with the regional authorities, we have established three main goals for next year that are in harmony with the character of the area. This is the outcome of our action plan: establishing policy frameworks for car sharing, setting up a regional planning map for public charging stations and creating frameworks for tenders in the target group transport sector. The region is currently working to implement these projects.
