More than 40% of the primary energy consumption in the Netherlands is used to heat homes and buildings. Still, heat does not nearly get as much attention as e.g. sustainably generated electricity. We see heat as an important part of the solution for municipalities to make significant progress in achieving the climate targets set. Local governments can play a large role in creating awareness of the need to reduce the heat demand and the dependence on gas by applying a sustainable heat system.
Over Morgen knows what heat can mean for a municipality and its climate ambitions. We show what the possibilities are to make heat supply in the city more sustainable. We calculate the costs and profits, bring parties together, create collectivity in the final goals and interest inhabitants in energy saving and sustainable heat.
